INTRODUCTION
This course aims to develop an individual’s innovative and enterprising skills sets and behaviours to spearhead improvements at the workplace. Participants will be able to acquire competencies in developing an action plan, in implementing selected risk strategies, and evaluating its effects to the company’s overall performance. Aside from this, WSQ Demonstrate Initiative and Enterprising Behaviours is a workshop that provides the learners with the skills to demonstrate effective independent thinking in the workplace and to translate ideas into action with self-direction and sustained efforts for goal attainment in accordance with context requirements, best practices and future needs.

16 hours – Assessment hours: 1.5, Training hours: 14.5
MODE OF DELIVERY
Face-to-Face: 14.5Guided Learning Hours (GLH) consist of lectures, interactive activities, role plays, group discussions, and self assessments/tests, either conducted in-house or on-site (corporate trainings)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Be able to speak, listen, read and write English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 4
AWARD CRITERIA
Students must successfully pass all assessments to achieve competency in the course. Learners who are certified competent will be given a Statement of Attainment (SoA) by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA)
